We carry out integrated research and development, support and consulting activities in the field of electromagnetics. Thanks to our collaboration with the EMCLab of the University of Udine, at the Uniud LabVillage, we can take advantage of state-of-the-art instrumentation and an anechoic chamber.
We offer various measurement and characterization activities of electrical, electronic and electromechanical components, pre-compliance testing for compliance with directives and regulations related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and environmental electromagnetic field measurements to assess safety with respect to physical agents in occupational and home safety.
We have the tools and know-how to characterize electrical and electronic components, such as inductors, coils, transformers, etc. We have oscilloscopes, function generators, impedance meters, impedance analyzers, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers.
We have the tools and know-how to characterize electromechanical components, such as position sensors, motors, etc. We have two optical benches, 11-degrees-of-freedom precision positioning systems, custom positioning systems along with instrumentation for electrical measurements (oscilloscopes, function generators, impedance meters, impedance analyzers, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers).
We have the tools and know-how to perform the most common electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) pre-complication tests. We have various AC, DC and three-phase LISNs (line impedance stabilization networks), TEM cell, anechoic and semi-anechoic chamber, log-periodic antennas, horn antennas, stylus antennas, loop antennas, near-field probes, along with instrumentation for electrical measurements (oscilloscopes, function generators, impedance meters, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers).
We have the tools and know-how to perform electromagnetic field (EMF) risk assessment, both low frequency and high frequency. We have static and low-frequency magnetic field meters. We also have Narda's kit with various types of antennas and sensors for both broadband and low-frequency EMF risk assessment.
