TWIN-SENSE - Cloud platform for personalized smart sensors with integrated digital twin

The TWIN-SENSE project develops intelligent inductive sensors and an AI-based platform for the automated design of the sensors themselves. Thanks to physically-based digital twins and advanced electromagnetic simulations, it monitors rotating machines in real time, optimizing their performance and operational safety.

The project, which began on January 8, 2025 and will last one year, has an eligible expenditure of €214,165.00 and a PR FESR FVG contribution of €149,915.50 (UE € 59.966,20, Italy € 62.964,51, region FVG € 26.984,79). CUP code D99J25000020007.

Project objectives

To promote the automated design of customized inductive sensors and enable digital twin and predictive maintenance applications, improving the efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability of industrial processes.
